In order to participate in classes within the University of Maine System, you need to provide proof of immunizations prior to the start of classes.
Proof of immunization is documented by a copy of your immunization record. The immunization record should be signed by a clinician or have a clinic stamp. A copy of your high school health immunization record is also acceptable.
When submitting immunization records, make sure every page of the documents submitted includes your name, student ID and birth date.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) along with the American College Health Association have issued new recommendations for college and university students regarding the prevention of Measles, Mumps, and Rubella.
The recommendations are as follows:
All students should have two doses of MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) vaccine or acceptable evidence of immunity to Measles, Mumps, and Rubella. Other acceptable immunities would be:
The State of Maine and the University of Maine at Fort Kent require two doses of MMR.
In the event of an outbreak, students who do not have documentation of immunity will be at risk for the illness. For the safety of all students, those not vaccinated will be excluded from campus until the outbreak is resolved for public health reasons.
