To graduate from the Nursing Program at UMFK you need to complete community service hours. One can complete these on your own with the proper paperwork. However, with SNO you have to obtain three points each semester that will be used and counted for your community service hours at UMFK. 1 point will need to be for attending a meeting and the other 2 will come from attending events that count as "SNO Points" these range from seminars, volunteering at nursing home, helping with blood drives etc. SNO is not mandatory but is a great organization to be a part of here at UMFK. SNO is a feasible way to obtain community service hours as well as be a part of a great student community!
