The University of Maine at Fort Kent students enrolled in SOC 110 “Introduction to Human Services and Community Mental Health” course will host a presentation, which is open to the public, on the topic of the Affordable Care Act on Tuesday, November 26 at 7 p.m. in the University's Nadeau Hall teleconference room.
Rita Haskins, certified application counselor and outreach and enrollment coordinator, at the Fish Rural Health Center will be the evening's guest speaker.
A suggested donation, such as a monetary donation or a non-perishable food item, is asked in lieu of an admission's fee.
All donations collected will be given to the Greater Fort Kent Ecumenical Food Pantry.
