The University of Maine at Fort Kent's Blake Library Galley is featuring exhibit "Canada Geese: A Closer Look” by New England photographer Rachel Krebs. The exhibit will be on display through the months of June and July 2016.
Krebs specializes in nature and wildlife images. Rachel captured these images on display, while living in eastern Massachusetts. The photo collection includes a moving series of Canada geese mates. Other images highlight their powerful wings and beautiful black-and-white markings.
Also included are photos of goslings that display their remarkable bonds with one another and their mother. The photographer hopes that viewers will walk away with an appreciation of these often misunderstood birds.

The exhibition can be viewed during library hours. For further information, please contact Blake Library Gallery Curator, Sofia Birden at (207) 834-7527.
