The University of Maine at Fort Kent Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Fort Kent Senior Center Club will host its fifth Acadian Kitchen Party to be held on Friday, January 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fort Kent Senior Center, located at 20 Pine Street.
Come join us for a night of Acadian music by local talents and delicious 'cake au chômeur,' a cake cooked in maple syrup. Admission is $5 for the general public and children under 12 attend free.
"We will have new participants for you this month, as well as some old favorites. Bring your family for an evening of fun," said Roger Damboise, UMFK alumni association board member and chair.
The Acadian Kitchen Party is a wonderful cultural event. Be sure to experience it for yourself.
