As a University of Maine System student you have been assigned a UMS student account. This is a very important user account, as all electronic communications are made through the use of this account. It is also the account that will provide online access to the major system-wide services. This account must be activated and kept current while attending the University.

The 3 major services that require a UMS ID are: UMS EmailBrightspace, and MaineStreet.

This account is also used for all on-campus computers.

If you have questions or need help with the activation process of your account you can contact the following IT Help Desk individuals or visit the Blake Library staff and ask for assistance. If you already have an activation key and are ready to try it yourself please visit the Activation website.

Photo IDs

Proximity Cards
