Acadian Kitchen Party September 26 in Fort Kent

The University of Maine at Fort Kent Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Fort Kent Senior Center Club will host its third Acadian Kitchen Party to be held on Friday, September 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fort Kent Senior Center, located at 20 Pine Street.

Come join us for a night of Acadian music by local talents and patate quis sur 1'poile.

Admission is $5 for the general public and children under 12 attend free.

“Our third kitchen party should be our biggest one. Since our kitchen parties have been successful, another community as expressed its desire in starting one. Musicians, young and old, who want a chance to perform with different people, come and join us. Come and see what good family entertainment can be. So, get your family together and join us on the 26th... it's opened to everyone,” said Roger Damboise, UMFK alumni association board member and chair.

The Acadian Kitchen Party is a wonderful cultural event that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Be sure to experience it for yourself.
