UMFK to Hold Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

The University of Maine at Fort Kent will soon cut the ribbon on their new Enrollment & Advancement Center. The event is planned for September 17, 2021 at 5:30pm.

In 2018, Maine voters approved a bond package to support infrastructure development for the University of Maine System. As a result of the passage of the bond, UMFK was allocated monies to put towards the first phase of their facilities master plan: the building of an Enrollment & Advancement Center at the entrance to campus.

Oak Point Associates of Biddeford was tasked with designing the space based on the needs of the university and Devoe Construction brought those plans to life over the last year. The building will house the offices of Admissions, Marketing, and Development.

Due to COVID concerns, the event will have an abbreviated program and all who attend are encouraged to wear masks outdoors and will be required to wear a mask in order to participate in a tour of the building.
