"Artist Talk" on exhibition Buckwheat

The Acadian Archives/Archives acadiennes of the University of Maine at Fort Kent welcomes the public to attend an “Artist Talk” that Therese L. Provenzano, visual artist and faculty member of UMFK, will give on Thursday, February 12 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 24 from 6 to 7 p.m.

Provenzano will talk about her solo exhibition, Buckwheat, which presents fourteen en plein air pastel paintings of the fields belonging to the Bouchard Family Farm.

The talk takes place among the pastel paintings in the gallery of the Acadian Archives. Seating will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be an opportunity for the public to ask questions at the end of the talk.

The exhibition, Buckwheat, will be on display through March 20. The Acadian Archives is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or by appointment on weekends and evenings during the week.
