University of Maine at Fort Kent Foundation is excited to host a virtual fundraising event on May 15, 2020 at 8:00pm. The UMFK Cares Virtual Trivia Game will air on Facebook on May 15 on the UMFK Alumni Association and St. John Valley Live Facebook pages.

The University of Maine at Fort Kent is pleased to announce the creation of a new Natural Resources Concentration within the Conservation Law Enforcement Bachelor of Science degree program.

The trustees of the Maine Higher Education Assistance Foundation (MeHEAF) are pleased to announce the awarding of a scholarship for $1,000 to Megan Blanchette of New Canada.  Megan is a junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business at the University of Maine at Fort Kent, where she maintains a high grade-point average.  

The University of Maine at Fort Kent is seeking nominations of individual student-athletes, teams, coaches, and administrators for induction into the University’s Athletic Hall of Fame.  Nominations will be accepted through April.

The Acadian Archives acadiennes of the University of Maine at Fort Kent is pleased to host a book launch and reading by Maine author Dana Murch of “The Ancestors and Descendants of Daniel F. Thibodeau and Rebecca Jandreau” on Thursday, March 26th at 2 p.m. The event is open to the public and refreshments will be served.

Students in the University of Maine at Fort Kent Nursing program, both on the Fort Kent campus and at the University of Maine at Presque Isle, have a high-tech new way to learn about human anatomy with the universities’ acquisition of two state-of-the art Anatomage tables. These tables, used by the world’s top medical schools and hospitals and featured by TEDTalks and PBS, are described as the most technologically advanced 3D visualization systems for anatomy and physiology education.
