The University of Maine at Fort Kent is pleased to announce that retiring Vice President of Administration, John Murphy, will be awarded the Distinguished Service Award at UMFK’s 135^th commencement ceremony on May 13, 2017. This award is given to individuals who have gone above and beyond in service to UMFK.

The University of Maine at Fort Kent Student Nurses Organization will host its annual community health and wellness fair on Wednesday, April 12, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the UMFK Sports Center.

The University of Maine at Fort Kent will host its annual “Earth Day - Every Day,” on Thursday, April 13 at the Sports Center from 12:15 to 2:10 p.m.  Approximately 40 first graders from the Fort Kent Elementary School will attend sessions geared to teaching topics in ecology, environmental science, forestry, and biology.
