The University of Maine at Fort Kent is pleased to announce that nursing student Katelynn Dougherty is one of 28 students to be accepted into the prestigious Maine NEW Leadership program at the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center at the University of Maine. Ms. Dougherty is a third-year nursing student at UMFK.

The University of Maine at Fort Kent is pleased to announce that Dr. Dora Ann Mills will be the keynote speaker for the 136^th commencement ceremony held on May 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the UMFK Sports Center.

The University of Maine at Fort Kent will host its eleventh annual Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and Ceremony on Saturday, April 7th in the University’s Sports Center.

University of Maine at Fort Kent Professor of Music and Education, Dr. Scott Brickman, recently had his Concerto-Rhapsody for cello and string orchestra premiered in L’viv, Ukraine, at the L’viv Philharmonic Society, on February 26. Cellist Denys Lytvinenko was the soloist and Ferdinando Nazzaro conducted the strings of the Lemberg Sinfonietta.
