Dr. Christin Kastl has been an Assistant Professor of Biology at UMFK since 2015. In 2006, she earned her BS in Life Science from the University of Hannover, Germany. She then earned her MS in Biomedicine from Hannover in 2008. Dr. Kastl completed her doctorate in Crop and Soil Environmental Sciences from Virginia Tech in 2014. She also holds a Future Professoriate Graduate Certificate. Dr. Kastl is an animal lover and fosters kids as well as kittens. She is a board member for the PAWS Animal Welfare Society and enjoys dog walking.
