About the Education Program

This degree is delivered in partnership with the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI). Instruction is provided to students at UMFK by UMPI faculty. Courses are offered in a number of ways: face-to-face on the UMFK campus, online, remote connection with UMPI campus classes, and as a hybrid. Completion of this degree program does not require travel to Presque Isle; students may complete the program entirely in Fort Kent.

Students enter this program as UMFK students for the first two years of study. After finishing the first two years of the program, students are enrolled at UMPI to complete the degree.

A professional advisor from UMPI, Shara Page, and the UMFK Assistant Director of Academic Support and Instructional Design, Loni Nadeau, comprise this advising team. Prospective and current students should reach out to these advisors for program information and support.
